Historical Fiction Challenge

I like Historical Fiction. People are poised, they talk nicely, what’s there not to like? Plus a) I’ve got a Marie Antoinette book sitting on my bookshelf for years; and b) I should be finishing “The Luxe” soon, and I’m definitely counting it as YA HF. If there is such a thing. Needless to say, I’m applying for Out of My Comfort Zone (2 books). It’s not really out of it, since I’ve read and liked my Jane Austen, but it IS the lowest level. So it’s achievable. Right?

By the end of the month even. Hopefully.

And the button thingie is really cute.

ACCOMPLISHED:

  1. The Luxe” by Anna Godbersen (set in 1899)
  2. ** “Twenties Girl” by Sophie Kinsella (contemporary, but you learn so much about 1920s makeup that I considered it historical. A little bit.)
